I have a replacement TE22 Hilti chuck and do not know how to remove the old broken one ?
You put the two flat sides on the end of the cap nut and lock them in a vice. You then put a wrench on the back side of the chuck which also has two flat sides. with the cap nut locked in a vise take the wrench and turn the retaining sleeve which has the two flat sides counterclockwise to break the cap nut loose. When it turns freely take the chuck out of the vise and turn the cap nut off. You then push the ribbed locking sleeve down to access an o-ring. You pull that off and it releases the locking sleeve and two roller bearings. You then pull off the retaining slv with the two flat sides and release the other two roller bearings. the chuck will then just pull off the shaft
Hope this helps

With the palm of your hand over the chuck where the bit goes in take your fingers and pull the black sleeve right at the drill casing and pull towards your palm. After you have pulled it all the way back just pull the whole chuck off.

If you can t find the cap nut, drill 2 small holes on either side, tap the holes and put in 2 set screws to hold it in place

Open the jaws of the chuck all the way open. Inside the chuck you will see a slotted screw. Use a large flat head screw driver and remove screw. It will have left handed threads.
After you remove the screw put the end of the chuck in a vise where the 6 flats sides are. Put the drill in low gear and reverse. Hold tight and turn on the drill. This should run the chuck right off the spindle.

The complete chuck is not easily replaced. It you stick an SDS+ bit in the chuck and it seems to fit tight without much wiggle then the chuck can be replaced without taking the tool apart. The rubber cap on the end will just pull off. Next the locking collar with the annular spring will come off with the out side sleeve. Underneath is the guide tube with two enlongated rollers. The locking collar should have a ball bearing underneath it that locks the sleeve in place. Usually the roller bearings or ball bearing are missing.

Hi. open the chuck to the max. inside the chuck you will see a screw. remove it. put the drill in reverse. hold the chuck. a vice may be needed. pull the trigger. this may work, however in my experience, they are very tricky to get off. I have never had a faulty chuck but have had many faulty gearboxes. i have had to buy ney chuck to fit with the new gearboxes because i couldn't get the good chuck of the damaged gear box. good luck.
