Please i need help i dont know how to set my timer and it wont st

I nearly went crazy pushing buttons, but finally got the right combination. From the normal Time Display (as you would normally use the watch, no need to push any buttons) Push and Hold for a few seconds the Lap/Reset Button. The "Set" Mode will become active. Release the Lap/Reset button when Set appears in the Display. Notice in the Display a small Arrow that points to a button, either the ST/STP or Mode Button. (Initially it will be the ST/STP Button). When you depress the button to which the arrow points, the Field Flashing in the display will be set (For ST/STP) or Changed to the next Field (When the Arrow Points to the Mode Button). Simply toggle through the fields (using the Mode Button) and set (using the ST/STP Button) as needed. You will also be offered the ability to set the Month, Date, Day, 12/24 HR, and a M-D (It stands for Month - Date, in Europe it's more common to display as Date - Month). I did not change this field since by default on my watch it displayed M - D first. The setting cycle will be finished off when you have set the various fields by again pushing the Lap/Reset Button. Not related to setting the watch, but possibly useful, the Watch will completely reset if all the buttons are pushed at the same time, including pushing the Display Light (or in the case of this watch, the illumination used for the Display Characters). Please follow the steps below to set the time of your Armitron Digital Sport #40/8125BLK Watch.

1. Press the MODE button once. This will put you in the timer.

2. Press and hold down the MODE button. This will put you in the alarm set display.

3. Press the MODE button once more and it will put you in the time set display.

4. Use the ST/SP button to change the blinking portion of the time. Then use RESET button to move you thru the different parts of the time/date.

Timer Setting
1. In timer mode press and hold "reset" to enter setting mode; hour will begin flashing
2.Press "st/stop" to increase hours;
3. press "mode" to advance to next setting value

Try using your mode button to get to the "ST" screen. To start the timer, hit your st/stp button. To stop your timer, use the same button. To reset the timer, hit "reset". Hope this helps.

the top right says st/stp....tells you the year
the bottom right is the light...
the top left is the reset....
and the bottom left is mode...alarm, stop watch,and time 2

in order to SHUT OFF THE ALARM:

go to the normal time setting, where nothing is flashing. then press and hold reset. then the time you want the alarm on shows up. in order to turn the alarm off press start...press start again to turn it on
