See this causes and fix it. God bless you
Lid Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Water Inlet Valve If the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.

Main Control Board If the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components.

Timer If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.

Why did my agitator on wash mode quit working if I push down on it real lite it'll start working again but soon as I let go of it it quits agitating

This is a clutch problem.

Or the agitator just need tightening down. Remove the stuff from the top and down inside you will see a deep seated bolt. Tighten it.

'make model (what it is)' in all questions please.

Then you can Google

make model REMOVE agitator

And then do the reverse!

Push power button and start button together, push water level up than push start button, turn machine off at wall and unplug it, plug back in and start machine as usual, that may fix the problem, if not, suspect the ECU board is faulty

Machine quit agitating, but spins fine

After looking further into the machine's actions I then grabbeds the clothes mover to see if that would do anything. It started agitating, so I just finished the agitation cycle by manually holding the appropriate area, and then I removed the agitator coupling and noticed that the splines were wore down.

Washer won't agitate, drain or spin

quite possible that the fuse has gone bad again, if that s the case i would recommend replacing the fuse, and the lid switch.

Old model rca washer machine...will not agitate/wash the clothes, does spin.

If the washer fills up with water and you hear the motor running but the agitator doesn’t move, the agitator coupling is the most likely problem. First pump the water out by turning the timer to spin. Once the water is out, turn the washer off. Now pull up on the agitator until it comes off (it may be hard to pull off). Now that the agitator is off, you can see the agitator coupling, reach down and try to turn the coupling. If the coupling turns freely, it is striped out and needs to be replaced.
