Belt stops at slow speeds

Check the walking belt is tensioned correctly.

Remove power from the mach.

Most machines you should be able to slide your hand under belt, only to about the center of your palm or maybe your thumb.

if walking belt tension is correct. make sure the delt has lube on it. Your owners manual will determine what type (wax or silicone) or manufacturer to use.

When inspecting the deck (laminated board under the walking belt, which it slides on top of), check for wear or damage.

Worn decks and belts should both be replaced at the same time.

Beyond a walking belt area issue, check the drive belt under the motor hood. connecting the drive motor to the front roller. try twisting the belt on its axis. about a 30degree deflection would be standard. If this belt is loose, the front roller is loosing its drive.

Sounds primarily like a belt/deck lube or wear issue.

IMAGE 19.0 R treadmill

1) Adjust the REED switch, clean it, and tight the plugs or connector very well, see the diagram
2) LUBE the deck belt, this could be happen to due the lack of maintenance, you must do it every weeks of use, use 100% silicone LUBE, and do it.
3) LUBE the rollers bearing with DW-40 with small quantity.
3) Tight a little drive belt motor, and replace if necessary, the tension must be 1/4" of flexibilit.
4) Test the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair, see my personal TIPS for troubleshooting motor.
5) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT voltage, the board is faulty.

My treadmill runs for 15 minutes than stops for a minute than start up for 10 minutes than stops, than start up

It is designed to be able to be restarted after about 5 minutes. When it stops, wait 5 to 10 minutes, reset the circuit breaker. Of course you still have the same problem.

The motor contoller board is most likely overheating do to friction, so you're going to need to lubricate the walking belt(this should actually be done every 6 months) you can order a kit on ebay for about 15-20 bucks, it's called " lube n walk ", and no, I don't sell it, but I use it on the treadmills I service.

I recomend you loosen the belt one full turn on each side before you lube the belt, apply the lube and run the treaadmill for one mile without anyone on it and then let it rest for a while.

After that give it a try. if the belt slips, then tighten it back up one turn, but don't over tighten it.

I also recomend using a single outlet surge supressor.

That should solve your problem.

My roger black treadmill keeps tripping the eletric

This could be a lubrication issue if this treadmill has never been serviced or worn belt/ deck. The last thing I am thinking about is if the unit is turned on with nobody on the unit and trips the the breaker then you have a shorted lower board.
1. Inspect belt and deck. The deck should be smooth. The belt should have a consistent feel from side to side (a belt can be worn out without any sensory signs of a problem). If you feel deep grooves in the deck or uneven wear on the underside of the belt, part replacement is necessary. Continued use of your treadmill may damage expensive electrical components. 2. To inspect the belt and deck visually or to clean underneath the belt before applying lubricant, the belt must have the tension reduced. Loosen the tension roller by following the instructions in your owner’s manual. Do not loosen the bolts in the tension roller too far or the bolts will come out of the roller shaft. This step may not be necessary for your treadmill model or belt and deck condition. 3. Contaminants are the worst enemy of your belt and deck. Some treadmills may have an excessive accumulation of dirt and contaminants. If these are trapped during the belt lube process, significant damage will occur. If contaminant removal is necessary, loosen the belt by following step 2, lay the treadmill on its’ side, and use a nylon brush to loosen contaminants that have accumulated on the inside of the belt. Clean the deck with mineral spirits in a well-ventilated area. Allow the deck to dry before lubing or tightening the belt.
4. Lift the belt and use approximately ½ of the tube by squeezing the lube in the walking area lengthwise. Move to the opposite side of the treadmill and repeat using the remainder of the lube. Use all of the contents of a single container during application. Do not put any lubricant on any surface with which your feet make contact. The lube will spread evenly in the next step. Do not perform this step by hand. The lube is usually not harmful to the skin but has the potential to permanently stain fabric. 5. Adjust belt tension and centering following your owner’s manual instructions if you have loosened the belt to clean. LOOSENING THE WALKING BELT IS NOT NECESSARY JUST TO APPLY THE LUBE. Start the treadmill at 2-3 mph and allow to run for 5 minutes without walking on the treadmill. Check centering carefully and adjust as needed following your owner’s manual instructions. Using your treadmill’s handrails and safety switch for safety and support, walk on the treadmill at 2-3 mph. CAUTION!!! BELT MAY HESISTATE. THIS CAN CREATE AN INJURY IF BELT IS NOT PROPERLY TENSIONED! Within 5 minutes the lube will be preliminarily walked in to the backing of the belt. Damage and/or injury may occur if the belt is not properly centered and tensioned by using your owner’s manual. 5. CAUTION: Do not run on the treadmill until your are certain the belt tension and centering is correct according to your owner’s manual specifications. Make certain that there are no friction.
Go on E-Bay you may purchase a kit or a single application all of them are a silicone base lubricant so don't worry about which is the best. The application will also determine if the visual inspection and cleaning did the job and if the breaker trips then you have a belt and deck issue.
