SOURCE: I have the Toro 7.0 TP mower - ready start. I've
well there could be a number of problems the 2 things i would do is clean out the bowl and clean the jets on the carb clean the bowl first and if that does not work clean the jets before u do that make sure to shut the gas off to clean the bowl u have to unscrew the one bolt on the bottom of the bowl then take electric parts cleaner or starter fluid and spray the whole bowl with it then put it back together the way it came off then turn the gas on and try it if it still wont start turn the gas off take the carb off and the little screws on the carb turn them in and count how many times they went in then remember that number. unscrew the screws and spray some starter fluid or parts cleaner in there and screw the screw in all the way then unscrew the screw how many turns u remembered and do the other ones then turn the gas on if it still does not start take out the spark plug get a lighter or a propane torch an get the oil and **** out of the tip of it be careful don't touch it it will be hot let it cool down then put it back in and try again GOOD LUCK!
SOURCE: toro 6.5 tecumseh won't start
replace your spark plug. it takes a Champion J19LM. If you left fuel in your tank over the winter then drain your tank and your float bowl. Add clean fresh fuel and it should go if not you need to clean your carb
