Interstate All Battery Center replaced my two batteries for $45.00 each. They replace the defective batteries and place 'date stickers' on the battery packs (982038-001).

SOURCE: I have a craftsmen 18 volt drill. Will it be hurt if I use a 19.

You should never provide more voltage to a tool or motor than what it is designed for. So, as a result, I would advise strongly against it. You have the chance of frying circuits and capacitors very easily by doing so.

On the flip side, using too low a voltage will also result in motor damage. Stick with an 18v battery for an 18v drill.

SOURCE: 18 volt cordless drill

For USA go here, http://www.dewaltservicenet.com/
For UK go here, https://service.toolcommerce.com/Products/Default.aspx
I work in uk and that is the same system we use, just a few less functions than I get as a service agent.

SOURCE: can a bad ryobi 18 drill ruin a new 18volt ryobi battery

If the drill has a short in it, then yes, it could short the battery out. Probably in the trigger switch.

SOURCE: Jobmate 18 volt chordless drill charging

About 60 minutes...max 90 minutes. Do NOT leave it on the charger for hours and hours...that just cooks the battery.

And switch regularly between the two batteries...else the one that doesn't get used will die.

Drill master, model 93440 battery needed

Your best bet might be to rebuild those NiCd batteries if they cannot be revived. It is possible to revive NiCds by using 2 good batteries or a high power DC source of about 40 Volts. The details for reviving NiCd batteries are all over YouTube. I suggest you watch a few before attempting to do this. Results are mixed. They may come back almost 100% or they may be done for. In that case you will need to rebuild with new cells. Harbor freight tools are throw away tools. They are cheaply made and have poor support.

I need a replacement trigger switch for my panasonic drill model number ey6450gqkw

the part number is WEY6450Y2006 and the cost is around 38.00. You can order it online at "ereplacementparts.com" and it ships in 1-2 weeks. If you install it yourself WATCH for the polarity. Make a note of the wiring before removing the old switch. If I have helped you would you please vote accordingly and thank you.

Go to www.batterydepot.com. Enter the cordless drill section / craftsman. They have a battery with a number very close to what you posted - the numbers are the same with a slight variation on the arrangement, so verify your number and call the 800 number listed.

Can we use the new 18 volt litheum batttery on the old 18 volt drill

Are you asking if it will fit, or if it will work, or it it is safe?
I can't tell you if it will fit, or even if it will work, but I can tell you this--- If it fits, then go ahead and try. It won't hurt anything, but they may have put the contacts in different places, so it might not work. But do not try to charge a lithium battery on an old charger.
