There is a software (firmware) update for your phone.
500.21.009/501.21.001
By installing the update, it should re-install the OVI store app in your phone.

1) Click on the link (below);
2) Select your phone from the list;
3) Once you select your phone, go to the bottom of the page. Look in the last box, "Nokia Software Updater";
4) Click on the 'How To' link to learn how to update your phone's firmware.
5) Select your language and click on the Download button.

Check this Guidelines :

* Be sure you are connected in the internet by using wi-fi or GPRS network.

*Try this application : OVISTORE Might the application you download is corrupted or not compatible.

* If you can't open your ovistore,try to reset your phone by typing *#7788# . This will just reset your phone settings and nothing will be erased and it will go back to default,then try it again.

If it is network problem then there is nothing wrong with your phone, it is the network of your service provider. Get in touch with them and put across your problem. Try using another sim and see if you are facing the same problem.. If so then take it to Nokia retailer and ask them to change the set.
