Please help -- I keep getting a pop-up box in my facebook page or anyone else's when I search for it by name. When I click on the question mark in a circle that sometimes appears, upper left, it takes me to something called RockYou media and there is no option to decline or remove this app. One of the words on the lower left of the pop-up window is zoosk. They are terrible rotating ads, including some very obscene ones. What can I do to stop this?
You also have some viruses and malware.
Start
your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then
select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE
programs below.
Download, Install and Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

My son helped me work through this. Go to your timeline, click on Home, and Security Settings, then click on the list of recognized devices (those that don't require "confirm identity" when logging in). Click on REMOVE for any duplicate on the list, and see if when you go back to your facebook page where it was happening that gets rid of the pop-up, and if not just REMOVE the others one at a time, because it only means you have to give your password when you sign in from the device you removed (I happen to have three devices -- i.e. computers -- that SHOULD be recognized). Check the facebook friend where it was happening each time you remove a "recognized device," and you should be able to continue uninterrupted by that annoyance.
