Take the metal back panel off the inside of the freezer, exposing the cooling coils. Below the coils, at the very bottom of the freezer compartment you will find a small drain hole. (Presently covered over with ice) Use hot (not boiling) water and a turkey baster to melt the ice and force hot water into the drain hole until the water runs out the drain hole (and into the defrost drain pan under the refrigerator) on it's own. This should be a Fix-Ya for your refrigerator.

There is a layer of ice on bottom floor of freezer and sometimes makes a loud sound and sometmes water leaks from the bottom on the side

Find the drain under the freezer coil. You'll have to thaw it then unclog it. Sometimes plastic wrap get caught in the hole.

My bottom drawer freezer is accumulating a sheet of ice

Your defrost drain line is clogged or frozen so the defrosted water is leaking into the freezer compartment and freezing into a ice layer in the next cooling cycle. Get your defrost drain line unclogged.

It's leaking

Mine was leaking from the front left freezer side. I removed the tray at the bottom and saw that there is a drain hole in the back. I removed the sheet of ice that was covering the drain hole and poured vinegar and hot water to unclog it. That was the problem all along! The drain hole was clogged causing the water to drip out of the front. Whew!

Hotpoint csx22d side by side has leak under freezer side @ door...coming from wiring harness that runs up into bottom of freezer maybe??????

This leak , is coming from the defrost drain , inside the freezer section , at the back . The defrost drain is clogged with ice . Remove the bottom freezer crisper , and use a hairdryer to defrost the ice . You will see a drain hole where the defrost water is supposed to drain thru . Hot water helps defrost this hole . Once defrosted , use a small hose inserted into the drain hole , to blow thru , to remove built up debris , inside the unseen drain line .

Water is leaking from inside of my fridge from inside the cooling element. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

That is from your defrost drain underneath the freezer coil. It is plugged up. get it unclogged by putting some wire down it or whatever you can use. It could just be frozen over. Sometimes the drain hole will get covered in ice and do that same thing. Either way, remove the back wall of the freezer, just a few screws and see if there is ice in there on the bottom. Defrost the ice and pour some water down the defrost drain

Ice forming where ice comes out to refrigerator

I am not sure if this is the same issue or not.  the flap that closes after you have dispensed ice does not close or seal all the way.  The gasket is worn down. the result is warm air get up into icemaker and warms ice and refreezes in one block so now the dispenser gets blocked.  We had to replace the flap in the door.  bought the part at an appliance part  store (not sears) they were helpfull and looked up the part needed.  Also a sheet of ice forms on the  bottom of the freezer.  When water is dispensed a small bit drips inside freezer in back and runs down to botom of freezer slowly forming a sheet of ice.  Use a hair dryer to defrost and then you must unclog the drain in the back at the bottom of ffreezer to allow it to drian.  Once we finally unclogged the drain we have not had any problems for about 2 years.
