You have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

Download, Install and Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5756
When Installing choose the non-pro version.

Download, Unzip, Install and Run TDSSKiller:
http://majorgeeks.com/Kaspersky_TDSSKiller_d6895.html

Download, Install and Run Super Anti-Spyware:
http://majorgeeks.com/SUPERAntiSpyware_d5116.html

If you have an outdated Anti-virus program then Download, Install and Run Avira Anti-Virus:
http://majorgeeks.com/Avira_AntiVir_Personal_-_FREE_Antivirus_d955.html
Make sure to select ALL of the "threat categories" when you install or configure Avira...

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

SOURCE: Have internet connection but browser won't open

There are a number of choices to get it working so let's try one at a time:
Click start>run>type cmd to get to DOS prompt>then type ping 127.0.0.1. You should see some packets being sent and packets being received. This is to test that your network card is working. If you do not get any packets received then your network card is bad. If you do get packets received then let me know there are still a couple of options.

SOURCE: I have an HP Laptop LAN connection will not connect to internet

The wireless modem you are connecting to is protected with a WEP key. You have to get the WEP key or find another wifi hotspot that is not protected.

You can also get a better antenna for your laptop to see if you can pull in another site.

Full cashe

For Internet Explorer:
Web browsers interpret incoming data from the Internet and display it in a easy-to-view format. Browsers store certain files and settings on your computer for each webpage visited, called cookies. An abundance of cookies and a large browser cache can cause the browser to run much more slowly than usual. Optimizing the speed and capability of your browser involves deleting its collection of cookies and clearing the browser cache.

Instructions
1 Open your web browser and click the "Tools" link near the top of the window. From the list of options choose "Delete Browsing History."
2 Choose the "Delete All" option. In the menu that opens select "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons." Click the "OK" button.
3 Exit and restart your browser. Navigate to a webpage to gauge the efficiency of your browser.
Tips and Warnings:
If your browser continues to be slow or non-responsive, reinstall the browser. Fresh installations often fix any files or features that may have become corrupted

Cant copy tables from internet to word 2007

Open a web browser such as Windows Internet Explorer by clicking the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner and double-clicking "Internet Explorer" in the program list.

  • 2 Display the webpage to be copied, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the Internet Explorer screen.
  • 3 Click "Select All" to highlight the entire contents of the webpage, then click the right-hand mouse button and select "Copy" from the drop-down menu. This copies the entire webpage to a temporary memory clipboard.
  • 4 Open a blank Word document by clicking the "Start" button, choosing "All Programs," clicking "Microsoft Office" and double-clicking "Microsoft Word."
  • 5 Click the "Edit" tab at the top of the Word screen and choose "Paste Special."
  • 6 Select which paste option best suits your needs. For example, the "HTML Format" option will paste the copied webpage with all hyperlinks, images and text formatting intact. "Unformatted Text" option will paste only the text from a webpage without any of the original columns, section dividers or other formats.
  • 7 Click "OK" to copy the webpage into the Word template

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Try to check if the connection you have from the internet is suffecient to load a page in your browser.Cause sometimes the reason why the page cannot display is because of a slow and insuffecient internet connections  Then if it has a suffecient connection then try to open the browser options and try to see the security or the privacy options and try to see the cookies if it is enable.

    Internet Explorer

click on File at the top of the screen make sure it's not checked work offline.

Also make sure you have valid shortcuts of actual websites on your desktops and not copies of those same webpages, the difference is that when you click on a copied webpage it will almost always open up as an "offline" web page. When you click on an actual shortcut icon of a website it will open up and go to the website, however you still need to ensure that "work offline" is not checked.

    Also update your internet explorer.

Another thing you can do is, open up a program that you know will pull up a webpage and try it that way. A final thing you can do is go under the Internet Explorer folder in the Programs folder under your hard drive and click on the Internet Ex icon there.

Somebody installed windows live on my computer i now have msn as my desk top i want to go back to google classic

Hi. I am assuming you are talking about the page that Internet Explorer goes to when you first open it. If that is the case, try this:

    Windows Vista (all versions)

    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
    2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
    3. Click the arrow to the right of the Home button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4aa01e82-2732-4ac7-b246-a06c904f2c2c&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then click Add or Change home page.
In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, do one of the following:
    • To make the current webpage your only home page, click Use this webpage as your only home page.
    • 4. To start a home page tab set or to add the current webpage to your set of home page tabs, click Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
    • To replace your existing home page or home page tab set with the webpages you currently have open, click Use the current tab set as your home page. This option will only be available if you have more than one tab open in Internet Explorer.
    5. Click Yes to save your changes.

    Windows XP (all versions)

    1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Programs or All Programs, and clicking Internet Explorer.
    2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
    3. On the pull-down menus at the top of the window, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options (if the Tools is not showing at the top of the page, you can access it using the Tools pull-down menu located on the right side of the window).
    4. To make the current webpage your home page, click the “Use Current” button.
    5. Click OK to save your changes.

    Hope this helps!
