My washer overflowed (I had the level switch between tow settings).
Now it works , but only on the heavy duty cycle. When I try on the other duty cycles when it starts on the agitate proton of the cycle it starts to agitate and makes a groaning sound and then retries. I also noticed the lights dim in the laundry when it tries to agitate on anything but heavy duty.
The problem is the pressure switch has failed or the hose is plugged up, has a hole in it. These are usually inexpensive and are very easy to replace. Here is a video this will walk you thru testing and replacing a pressure switch. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.
