Electric lawn mower won't start. Breaker is fine. Extension cord does work. I've used this lawn mower only twice

you could check the brush connection on the motor or your switch mat not be making contact

if its rated at 13.5 amps, then you should be operating it on a 20 amp circuit. Also, you need to use a 14 gauge extension cord, otherwise the voltage drop on the extension cord causes the motor current to rise
