New filters does not help and water is tap warm

Tastes like water that has been setting in a garden hose if you ever tried it as a kid. Drinkable but yucky.

First time you used filter right? If so you need to run several gallons through. Otherwise, somehow the coil to cool the water (in the refrigerator section is being bypassed. Perhaps it was leaking and bypassed. Check your owner's manual troubleshooting.

Ice tastes bad from ice dispenser in side by side LG fridge. Water from my tap is fine

Check your box for a filter. If not than buy one from hardware store. They are easy to install. Also try flushing the system. Just run water thru dispenser about gallon worth. Ihope this helps.

Samsung RF267 water tastes terrible. Filters changed twice and not helping

If new plumbing, system is flushing and may cause a bad taste or odd color.Has a food item spoiled?
Make sure that strong smelling food (for example, fish) is wrapped so that it
is airtight.
Clean out your freezer periodically and throw away any spoiled or suspect food. Place foods in airtight containers to prevent the transfer of odors. And also Flush out water hose from tap end to freezer with warm water And also clean fridge with wet cloth (with soap solution). And then clean with dry cloth. .Keep fridge door open after cleaning all compartments for 4hrs minimum, as fresh air could wipe out any bad odor in fridge. And then start using fridge. Hope, it's helpful.

Terrible Plastic After-Tast in Dispensed Water (Refrig)

If indeed it is stagnant water you have to find the water source tap off of your water supply. Then trace out the routing of the feed water line to your refrigerator. Turn off the tap, remove the line at both ends. You can abandon the existing line. Reroute the new line. or you can remove the old line and follow the same route. Reconnect the tap and refrigerator ends.

Ice maker water taste like chlorine but tap tastes fine

Put a in-line water filter on the water line if you want. The taste is from the food and items you have in the refrigerator. Clean it out and keep your items in proper storage. Ice collects the smells in the line and the fridge. Change your ice that is sitting in the bin, wask out the bin with water and baking soda. Hope this helps.

Bad water & ice cube taste

Hello redwood City
Welcome

You said,
Your Kitchenaid Superba KSRG25FKBL15 has bad tasting water and ice cubes. You replaced the copper tubing which delivers the water to the fridge and that didn't help. You replaced the copper tubing again with plastic tubing...no better. Any suggestions? Your tap water doesn't taste this bad.You bought a Kenmore french door fridge with water dispenser in the door in July 2008. The fridge has a filter. A few weeks after the fridge came the water and ice started tasting really bad, unlike any bad water taste I have ever tasted. And your tap water is fine. The bad taste appears to be random. Sometimes you get a cup full of nasty water and sometimes it tastes fine.

First you must know you have a 1 year warranty and can have them come out to fix anything, no charge. If it persists. You will have to get tough and you , MUST INSIST THEY REPLACE YOUR FRIDGE

When installing the water line these were a part of the directions!
Did you do this before connecting the water line to your fridge?
"Place the free end of the tubing in a container or sink, and
turn ON the main water supply. Flush the tubing until water is
clear. Turn OFF the shutoff valve on the water pipe. Coil the
copper tubing."

Whirlpool remedy
Off-taste, odor or gray color in the ice
1.Are the plumbing connections new, causing discolored or
off-flavored ice? Discard the first few batches of ice.
2.Have the ice cubes been stored too long? Throw old ice
away and make a new supply.
3.Does the freezer and ice storage bin need to be cleaned?
See “Cleaning” or “Ice Maker and Storage Bin.”
4.Has food in the freezer or refrigerator been wrapped
properly? Use airtight, moisture-proof packaging to help
prevent odor transfer to stored food.
5.Does the water contain minerals (such as sulfur)? A filter
may need to be installed to remove the minerals.
6. Is there a water filter installed on the refrigerator? Gray or
dark discoloration in ice indicates that the water filtration
system needs additional flushing. Run additional water
through the water dispenser to flush the water filtration
system more thoroughly (at least 2 to 3 gal. [8 to 12 L] or 6 to
7 minutes initially). Discard discolored ice.

Let me know what works,
Thank You ,
HUUUM!!
