If you push the contactor and it runs why replace all that stuff??? You have to figure out where your 24 volts stops on its way to the condenser contactor. wire red green and yellow together at tstat, this should bring on indoor fan and condenser. if idf runs but cu does not you have an issue either going outside or a pressure switch is tripped. if nothing runs you have no 24, either a blown fuse, tripped float or bad transformer.

SOURCE: FINDING A DIAGRAM FOR A RUUD AIR HANDLER ON LINE
I dont have axcess to a wiring diagram but i am pretty familiar i know the heater wiring is crazy on these what are you having trouble with??
SOURCE: replace contactor
On single phase your incoming power lines go to L-1 & L-2, the lines to the compressor go to T-1 & T-2. With A/C current it does not matter which one goes to which side as long as the line goes to the L side and the compressor power lines go to the T side. As long as the coil voltage is correct any contactor will replace the original.

It sounds like your condenser fan motor may be locked up or the capacitor that helps give the condenser fan motor a kick to get it started may be defective. Try turning your system on and using a long screwdriver try to push the fan blade on the condenser fan motor to see if it will run normally if you give it the starting boost it needs. If it does run at full speed and doesn't over heat or start and then slow down then you probably only need to replace a simple 10-12$ capacitor. If it barely turns, makes an odd humming sound or overheats etc. then you will have to replace the condenser fan motor. This is assuming that the outdoor condenser has the 220v supplied and the 24v supplied to the compressor relay, that the compressor relay is engaged and suppling 220v to the condenser fan motor.

try spinning by hand when the unit make the buzzing sound. to see if the capacitor is bad. If the fan runs replace the cap. If not motor probably is bad. See if it spins freely. this is a good starting place. need to check if the buzzing is the contactor and there is no power to the condensor. The contactor will buzz even though the main breaker is off or tripped
SOURCE: I have a Ruud Model # UACC-036JAS. Any idea on
Hi, yes the number you are showing me 036 indicates its a 3 ton unit. For every ton of cooling, you will have 12,000 btu's of cooling. 36 divided by 12=3 ton unit. Its showing me also its a Ruud Handler 2.0 ton which would be a Model# UACC-024JAS? If your mobel number is the one you gave me, UACC-036JAS, this is a 3 ton unit, absolutely no questions. I hope I have been of help to you. I am a licensed air conditioning / Refrigeration /Heating Contractor. Let me know if I have been of help.
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7
PS If this is a split system with the indoor air handler and condenser outdoors, both coils must be the same tonnage for it to work for you properly. You can't have a 2 ton indoor evaporator coil with a 3 ton condensing unit.
