Every worked fine for months until I played a CD in the Trutech's DVD player. When I switched back to the ATT Uverse, put the TV on AV in I only see the video in the picture in Picture small viewer without any sound and then when I choose that channel to have full view the screen is black , no sound and just the blue channel info show up at the bottom of the screen. I spent may hours with U Verse tech support and we concluded that it is NOT the receiver. It's something in the Trutech TV. I have tried everything and every setting and it does no change. HELP?

Sorry but its stuffed. Very common problem with LGs. What
happens is because power is not always coming in in a straight line it fluctates up and down within a tolerable level, the tv will be 240v and is always drawing 240v, now if the power drops out of the safe operating level for example to 150v or above to 350v your tv will still be drawing 240v and you call prob imagine that doesn't work. Now the problem is cheaper tvs have less of a tolerance of this than more expensive tvs do, which is why they are cheaper, thay are made cheap. If its out of warranty take it to a repairer and say here you can have this, then go down and buy a new one (not LG a good brand) as it will cost you more to repair it than it will to buy a new one. Oh and buy an extended warranty with the new one, also a surge prtector power board would help preferably one with an indemnity cover.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so

one of these philips/magnavox codes should work press dvd and ok buttons then release - the top row of buttons will blink twice - then enter 4 digit code - after which the dvd button will blink twice - then try power - if fails - try next code.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH A VIZIO VL260M. THE CODE 1343 WORKED FOR ME ALSO.
