Replaced cartridge on single handle faucet but water not flowing. could it be the diverter or what?
Did you try flushing the line before you put the cartridge in? sometimes debris gets stuck in the main lines and wont flow through them.

It could be one of two problems, one simple, one serious.

Something is caught in the stem. Make sure the stem is free of debris. Also check that the valve or cartridge is intact.

try and pull the cartridge out and look in there with a flash light and make sure there isn't any think lodged in the hot water side of the faucet, you might even want to leave the cartridge out and turn the water back on to try and flush it out. alot of times rubber from the old cartridge gets stuck in there as you are pulling the old one out especially if it's stuck in there good
