Won't power up. replaced pump motor

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the washer is not powering up, then it is possible that the motherboard is faulty. Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

(00100000) Phase 1 - Pump Circuit Error The Display Module has detected that the pump is on when it is off. Primary Source: Display Module Action: 1. Check for moisture in the console area. 2. Replace the Display Module.

Washer won't start. Power is on, pressed power, then pressed permanent press, then water temp, then start. There is a red light on spin cycle and it just beeps and doesn't start.

Hi - if that red led light comes on as you press start - then the display module is faulty - however it's not always the case - often its the motor controller module thats faulty..

Your call - display module first and hope it works or controller.

The manufacturers recommended procedure is to replace the display module (primary) if it still doesnt work then replace the control module (secondary).

After power failure my GW712 wont work, the lights come on but the start up beeps don't sound and the touch pad don't do anything, also there is a whirring sound coming from the control panel.

Hi - that sounds nasty - its possible the display or the control module has failed as a result of the power failure.

I suggest the motor control module be the 1st unit to be replaced, don't think you can get around this one.

Hi just read your posting.Sorry to ask these questions but why did you replace the control module and pump?When you turn the power off then on at the wall does your machine light up the display and give a beep as well? Did you hear a popping sound when you tried to use the machine?Did you smell anything burning?Please reply with additional information and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

I have a Fisher@Paykel washer changed water pump and diverter pump work for 5 min. then stop. Power to washer but no lights on. Someone said check fuse; cannot find fuse.

if no lights r on your display then your control module is proberly faulty. why did u change diverter valve and drain pump? please reply 4 more help.

New Motor Controller Module. Mine quit working because water leaked past shaft seal on Drain Pump. No fuse to replace.

Your main board is out very come with a bad drain pump the new pumps and boards come with a fuse to stop this problem. water hit the pump and shorts out the board

90% chance that is the pump is pumping water at all, there is blockage between the tub and the drain pump. If there is no water coming out of the drain line. either extremely clogged(odd) or pump motor is bad, and windings are not allowing rotation.

Hi just read your posting.Now when you say it 'catches', what exactly does this mean?Was the pump corroded in any way?After the pump drains for awhile is it hot to touch?Best guess on the fault is pump.But I have seen on a machine, the motor controller being faulty.Is your pump the model with an external fan?Have you or can you borrow an electrical test meter to test the OHMS of the pump windings?Please reply with additional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you further.
