How to make smoothies as I can't work the machine

Question is too vague. If the machine works - download the manual online for free. If the machine works look up simple recopies online. Always add more water than you think to avoid damaging the motor. Start with small batches but don't fill the jar more than 1/2 full.

My GE Potscrubber 950 dishwasher is making a lound grinding noise when I turn it on. The noice continues through the entire time that the dishwasher is on. It does still get my dishes clean but the noise...

It is so common that the washing machine can make terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the spraying arm or the pressure pump can be defective .It is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the spraying arm and the motor and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the arm shaft and fittings must be checked. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.

For replacement of spraying arms check for tips on this visual link:

I have a bamix M200 hand blender & the shaft does not turn although the motor is working can you help?

After a period of time food residue will migrate up through the seal on the "foot" and lodge in the shaft. Once this is gummer up the motor will go but the shaft will not be able to rotate.

The machine will need to be disassembled and the shaft cleaned out. I recommend that you find your local Bamix Service Centre to do this as there are fragile parts in the stick mixer.

Plastic pieces on glass jar and base are worn out and shaved down

I did the same thing. Order parts at thegourmetdepotco.com -- This problem is caused when you put the rubber gasket underneath the blade instead of above it. This causes two problems: 1. It lifts the teeth on the jar away from the teeth on the drive gear, which can grind down and break off the teeth, and 2. If the drive gear contacts the rubber gasket, it will melt the rim of the drive gear. In the future, to reassemble the jar after cleaning, first put the rubber gasket on the jar, then the blade, lastly screw on the base ring.

Avanti pasta wiz

The problem is with the Avanti Pasta Wiz's soft metal gears. They have bent and your machine is now likely usable. You should return it to the retailer and ask for a refund.
