Error code f24

Have kenmore front loading washer model #11047561601 serial #hlu4760364 and i keep getting a error code f24 and the washer stops .

    Our cleaning staff used the washer. When I returned home the washer light was indicating the F-024 error. When I tried restarting the machine in various modes, I would still get the F-24 signal when I pressed the Start button. I also tried unplugging, resetting in the rinse mode, switting off the power by switch and by circuit breaker.

F24 indicates a water temperature sensor error. If during the wash cycle in the water-heating step, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range the F24 error code will display.

Possible causes:

  • Too cold of water or hot water is turned off
  • Temperature sensor failure or loose connection
  • Control board failure

The HE machines use what are called torque bits, and you'll need one to remove them because there isn't a socket that fits them. I want to say its a t-25 or t-27

My kenmore he frnt load washer has an error code of (f24). tried the manual solution no luck. can you help me?
On this model of HE washer, the F24 code indicates that the water temperature sensor is out of range (23 degrees to 217 degrees F). This usually indicates a bad thermistor (temperature sensor - Key 24 in the image below). A bad wiring connection or a failed control board could also cause this problem.

F24 error code
Take off the lower panel of your washer and under this panel on the back of panel is a book which tells you what the error codes are and how to fix them or test for them. It looks like a tempature sensor code to me.
