I have an 8 G apple Iphone which I have had for 3 months, it fell of my desk (3 foot high and now does not work or recharge, no picture on the screen and will not turn on,
All I get is a apple sign when I try to recharge with my car charger, Do you know what this could be?
How much will it be to fix?

Every thing on the phone is working but when I plug it in to charge their is no icon showing that it is charging?

Press and hold Sleep/Wake and Home until the iPhone resets.
When the Apple logo appears release Sleep/Wake, but do not release Home until you see the prompt to connect the iPhone to iTunes.

I don't recommend you to do the offered backup, I've seen a few things more reliable then this backup, to say the least...
To avoid the screen of death, do not update all the features with the "Update All" feature, updates your features one at a time, avoid performing other tasks while updating your iPhone.

Connect your phone to the computer and open iTunes. Hold both the home key and the power button until the iPhone turns off. Continue to hold them both for 5 more seconds. Release the power button but continue to hold the home button for 10 - 15 more seconds. I tunes should detect the phone in DFU mode. Restore firmware from this mode.

hi juli this is glady even i faced the same prob in my i phone to so download a new firmware from apple site nd then switch off ur cell while conectd to ur pc then switch on through ur apple pc suite upgrde ur phone through the i tunes o give the path nd see or better to go to youtube for more crystal clear info bye

Connect to itunes and Hold home and power button for 6 seconds let go of power but still hold home until itunes sees phone. If it didn't boot back up by then you can do a restore.
