Goodman AEPF426016CA installed 3 years ago. drain pan overflows NOT CLOGGED safeT switch does not turn off unit temp in house gradually above set level drain pipe at pan tied with metal strap in attempt to increase drainage serviced every 6 mons same c/o alot of water damage in garage since unit doesn't turn off. UNIT SITS ON PRE-EXISTING WOOD BASE OF OLD UNIT DESIGN ROTTING and bottom of water heater next to unit on floor rusting. drain pan replaced once but leak restarted( no crack in drain pan)

Sounds like you may have freezing coil. Clean your filters and the inside of your coils. Also blow out the drain (just in case). Many people pour a cup of bleach in the drain pain once a month to keep the slime from growing.

It seems as though you have an unrelated water leak....
Often the water supplies are copper tubing....
Copper tubing and concrete do not get along well...
but hey it lasts till the warranty is up....
and they can't see it from their house...
