it looks like the problem is in the 16v line..try to take it apart..and there's gonna be a 2200mf cap leaky.
that will solve your problem.

The problem happens to be a capacitor. your TV uses the ITC222 Thomson chassis and it has a flaw in which CP150, CP140, and CP120 dries out and then explodes or becomes bloated and causes the problem you are reporting. Here is a URL to get the schematic daiagram:

Once you have the schematic, the actual component is on the Deflection board (the one on your right hand side facing the back of the set. The component is behind a heat sink with a transistor on it. Now make sure you find all three capacitors (the two other are on the same deflection board).

I think you have a shorted hori output Transistor NTE2324 if it makes a low squealing sound also ck capacitor 114,120,150 if 150 is puffed up on top it is bad 2200uf 16v use 25v and other 2 are 220uf 35v.

There is a common power supply problem with these that requires the replacement of four capacitors on the power board. This could be causing your problem.

Have you tried to see if CP120, CP140, and CP150 are good? These capacitors usually are the cause of the problem you are experiencing. I have a copy of the schematic is you need it.

This is a common problem with this TV set as it uses the ITC222 chassis. The problem is usually localized to a group of capacitors
CP120, CP140, and CP150. If you have a background in electronics I can send you the schematics and you can unsolder them and replace them using the schematic to get the values from. If you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest you have a qualified Television Technician do the replacement for you.

This is being caused by a series of faulty capacitors CP120, CP140, and CP150. One or all of these capacitors are malfunctioning. They are located on the HV Power board. You will need to replace them of have them replaced. The schematics are available on line, if you can not find them I have a copy, I can send you. If you have a background in electronics this should be a snap, if you do not have a background in electronics, I would suggest that you have a qualified television technician perform this task.

Solder bad connections...main board with hv transformer on it..
CL035 capacitor and any others...use magnifier........T.
