How often should I clean my cage? - Birds

There are two balls in your paint sprayer: One is in the piston and can be removed after you take the piston valve out to get the piston packings off. Be careful of the smooth surfaces of the piston where it contacts the packings. The other is in the intake valve (foot) and held in place by the ball guide or cage. The cage can get stuck because paint gets between it and the foot. DO NOT put something in the back of the foot and try to pound the ball and cage out. The cage is hard steel, read brittle and the tabs on the cage can/will break off. I usually clean out the foot as best I can then use needle nose pliers in the holes in the top of the cage and twist it back and forth until it gets free enough to come out. Clean all surfaces and it'll go in much easier than it came out.

You need to clean the outer cage of the fan with the help of a dry paint bursh or a dry tooth brush.
Later, open the cage and clean the blades by spraying liquid cleaner and wiping it with dry cotton cloth, alternatively you can use water to clean it.

Yes, i bought a play pen that clips on to my rabbit's cage. It's great as i don't' have a lot of space but i want her to run around every day and also to put her somewhere safe when i clean up the cage.

Wire floors even the ones with narrow spaces, can causesores to your pet. The best cage will be without wire floor (even if it iseasier to clean...). If you have a wire floor, it should be covered with grass ora piece of wood or even sisal mat.

Try cleaning the blower cage, sounds like something got in there. If you find it clean, check motor bushings and replace the blower cage / motor assembly.

The best way to really clean the squirrel cage is to remove the entire indoor blower motor housing assembly out of the furnace then remove the squirrel cage from the motor shaft and pressure wash the squirrel cage. Make sure you don't use to much water pressure as you might knock off any balancing weights that may be attached to the one or more of the vanes. Make sure the cage is completely dry before you re-install it back on the motor shaft.

The hardest part of cleaning the dish is that you can't get your hand inside the cage surrounding the dish. What I did was to use a wire cutter to snip enough pieces of the cage off so that I could get access to the dish. If you do it carefully, it looks as if it was intended and doesn't prevent the cage from working. If you think of the cage/dish as a clock, I cut all the strips between 9 and 11, and 1 and 3. Easy to clean the dish afterwards.

That might not solve the buzzing problem, though. It didn't solve it for me.
