Flashing Active Light and not taking fabric conditioner

Hello, We have had our Bosch for 6 years. Problem 1: After our last house move the machine developed a fault where halfway through a wash cycle, the wash cycle stops and the 'active' light flashes. You have to press 'start' to get the machine to continue its cycle. Problem 2: Recently, the machine stopped taking the fabric conditioner from the detergent drawer. I have cleaned the jet nozzels in the top of the drawer housing, but the conditioner is still in the drawer at the end of the wash. Any help with either of these problems would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mr and Mrs M

My Bosch is also 6 years old. About halfway through the cycle it stops and the light flashes. It has to be restarted a number of times. Recently the detergent drawer has started to overflow and flood.

1: The flashing wash light usually indicates a problem with the door latch while a flashing rinse/spin light usually indicates a problem with your inlet valve. 2: The cold water inlet has 2 independant outlets. The issue that you are describing indicates that one part of the cold water inlet is not opening to allow water to flow to the proper dispenser port.

Bosch Serie 6 Exclusiv won't start washing, door light flashing even after door lock replacement.

Hi,

please verify with the product documentation that the flashing-door symbol indicates what you've initially mentioned. Apart from that, you might look for the sensor and hold it in to temporarily overcome the issue. If the door being shut is the issue, pressing in the sensor should fix the issue for you temporarily. If not, then you can work with Bosch or Home Deport to moving forward.

Prior to their arrival, you can power cycle your machine 1 or 2 times and check for the door symbol once more. It could be that they sensor has gone bad for some reason.

Thank you

I have had my amana air conditioner for16 years as of last year it started to take a long long time to cool the room, i live in a older house and i noticed it has a lot of dust where the vents are. How can...

Hello,
To clean the vents around your room, just use a vacuum with a brush/hose attachment. If you do not have that available then use a light cleansing agent (mild soap and water) with a rag and scrub the surrounding areas you want to clean. Hope this helps! James

Flashing container light. what is this? Dryer

Try taking out the lint screen and scrubbing it well in the sink with hot water and a brush. If you havent cleaned out below the lint screen, get a vacuum and a crevice tool and remove any standing lint as well as cleaning the vent. Bosch lint screens clog easily especially if you are a big fabric softener user.

Conditioner is staying in draw when water should be feeding into draw at end of cycle it is going into both other draws but not the conditiner one any ideas

Hi, welcome to Fixya. Immediately what comes to mind, actually two things. Fabric softner can often be too thick to dispense properly in front load dispenser's unless deluted half & half with water before adding. The other thing is this, it could be the water inlet hoses connected backwards, i.e. Hot going to cold and cold to hot at the washer, hence in the rinse cycle when cold water should enter the fabric softner chamber it doean't. Let me know what you find as I will look for your reply. Thanks for visitng "fixya". Please take a moment and rate this info accordingly but also let me know if you need further assistance. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Machine won't draw out fabric conditioner from dispenser

Hello,
I dont know what model you have but you are correct in your assumption that the conditioner is siphoned out on the last rinse unless it is different for your model. Most machines I am familiar with operate in the first instance.Check that you have good water pressure to all compartments also get a toothbrush and clean the holes above the drawer even a bent piece of wire to unblock the small holes.

Good luck
