Treadmill worked then when I pressed arrow to speed up did not work, now not working but lights up?
1) replace batteries under the display board, clean the contacts with contacts cleaner.
2) adjust the REED switch, clean it and tight the wires connector.
3) tight the ribbon cable from keypads, clean it, tight the wires connector from display board vs lower board.
God bless you
SOURCE: proform treadmill doesnt work
Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key and try to get this unit in calibration mode if you cannot then, the upper console will have to be replace.
SOURCE: I plugged in my Pro-Form 730cs treadmill and it won't start.
My i FIT treadmill won't turn on. Is there a reset button somewhere?
SOURCE: my control board does not work...buttons cant be
Remove the console from the treadmill and remove the back
remove and replace the ribbon cables that run from the keypads to the control board (they are flat plastic strips that push into the board).
remove and replace all the connections on the console
reattach the console and calibrate by doing the following:
1. With the key off press the speed + and stop buttons at the same time and hold
2. place the key on and release the buttons
3. press the stop key once
4. press the speed up til it reaches 85
5. if your max speed is 10 mph then it should read about 9.8-10.2
If the keys will not work then the console is bad and would need replaced.
SOURCE: Everything works. but the treadmill
If you press start and the belt will not turn, but your incline is working, the time is counting and the speed #'s change. The problem would most likely be the lower control board. It could also be your motor. Have a professional test the motor with a DC voltage source. If it tests OK the problem is almost certainly the control board. Depending on the brand, some control boards have a fuse. Have the fuse checked and if it is bad replace it and try starting the treadmill again before you buy a new control board.
