When it says input numbers of players i press 2 or 1 and it does nothing!

I BOUGHT THIS 4-1-13 Hack is

hit setup
on the remote press 9 9 9 9
region 1 will come up at the top right.
use the side arrows go to 255
hit setup region free

Pressing the reset button did the trick for me

I'm sorry that the DVD player is displaying green light and nothing is displaying input button. Please follow the below general tips and check if that helps.

1. Please make sure that the connections are secure and proper.
2. Try inserting another disc and check the operation.
3. Unplug the DVD player from wall outlet and connect it back after 1 minute to perform a power reset and check the operation.
4. Check whether you're able to see the DVD player logo on the TV screen.
5. If not, keep pressing the INPUT button until it makes any changes on the TV screen for a minute.

• When did the issue started occurring?
• Have you made any changes since it's last normal working?
• What is the connection between the TV and the DVD player? Also inform if you're using a standalone DVD player.

Make sure you are on right input. On your remote press input until you are on the right one.

You will need a phillips head screwdriver and 3 AA batteries. Flip the board over and locate the battery panel. Take out the screw and remove the panel. Insert the batteries in the alignment specified. Replace the panel and screw. Test it by pressing the "on" button. It should say "remote terminal activated, input number of players." Put the stickers on. The "player one" sticker goes on the side with the on switch. Remove the plastic pieces from the molds and divide them evenly between players. Each player should have five ships, 100 white pegs, 50 red pegs, 25 blue pegs, one red plane and one blue plane. Place pegs in appropriate compartments. The blue pegs and planes are only used in "advanced missions." Player One turns on the game and selects the game mode and how many players there are.

Here is the steps to make your dvd player region free:

1. get the system grid to change region.
2. change to region 2 first.
3. then change to all regions.

Part 1 -> Getting to the grid
make sure the disc tray is closed
press buttons below one after each other
1) Repeat
2) Fast Reverse (3) Next Ch (>>')
4) Fast Fwd (>>)
5) Prev Ch ('6) Play (>)
Take a note of the highlighted numbers (just in case!) in
case you need to do it all again.

Part 2 -> Change player to region 2.
Using the grid make your player into region 2 by
highlighting the numbers 2,8,19,21,22,24 then PLAY button to
save settings(this will turn your player off - you need to
turn it back on by pressing power button

Select the language again then proceed to part 3.

Part 3 -> Change player to region 0 (all regions)
Press the following buttons:
1) Repeat
2) Fast Fwd
3) Fast Rev
4) Fast Fwd
5) Up
6) Down
You should see a 0 on the top left corner!!!

Player is now REGION FREE.

PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE BOTTEM RIGHT OF SCREEN AND AUDIO WILL RETURN TO NORMAL

Recheck all connections and try to get the TV on channel 3 or 4 especially if you have a cable or satellite box.

Greetings - It's very simple so I'll show you how and then I think it may be another problem (nothing broken).




You need to plug the corresponding color cables into to outputs on your player I've circled above and then into the corresponding inputs on the TV. You've probably done this correctly.
PLUS - You have to, using the remote for the player, set the source to either DVD or VCR and then you have to, finally, on your TV set the input (with the remote) to what is called probably VIDEO or VIDEO1. If there is still nothing on the screen keep (with the DVD or Tape playing) hitting the TV remote input button until you see an image or you've come around to where you started.

Unless something is broken (unlikely) you should be able to watch DVD's or Tapes depending on what input you select on the player.

If it's not working you've somehow missed a step or the Video input on the TV is called something else. If that happens come back here and give the player AND TV brand/model info and someone will be able resolve your problem.

have the same model. just got it to work. but, struggling with one part. here's the scoop. 1. Plug your second zone speakers into the SURR BACK/AMP ASSIGN speaker outputs on the unit. 2. You need to "amp assign" the speakers to zone 2 by pressing AMP, MENU, select SPEAKER SETUP, AMP ASSIGN and scroll to ZONE 2 - this will force the sound to the speakers that you plugged in. 3 - Turn on Zone 2 (press Z2, press ON button on remote). Use the UP/DOWN arrows to select the input for Zone 2. I've only been successful in selecting USB and plugging my iphone in for zone 2. For some reason, I cannot get the SAT (cable box) to play in both zone 1 and zone 2 at the same time. But, I can get SAT in zone 1 and USB in zone 2. Hope that helps.
