Is the system filling up with water then halting with an E1 error or can you complete an entire cycle?
E1 in Samsung Front Loaders: It means the machine has detected an error in inlet water filter or the water pressure. Some of my sources indicate E1 could also be a leakage error It could all mean a faulty sensor but you should check th water lines, the door seals and the floor beneath the machine for tell-tale signs of a leaking system. Is the system filling up with water then halting with an E1 error or can you complete an entire cycle?
If you can fill the washer, but it faults with and E1, and can go no further, my research shows a common cause for the problem is the PVC tube connecting the pressure sensor to the drum has experienced a problem. In some modern washers, the water level is measured and regulated with a pressure sensor connected to the tub with a plastic tube. As the water level rises inside the drum, the pressure rises inside the sealed tube. The tube can sometimes become detached or even plugged with lint, soap or wash grime. Check the pressure sensor line to make sure it is attached to the drum and is completely unobstructed by foreign objects or deposits. If so, clean the debris and/or reattach the tube to the drum and try running starting a cycle. If you don't get the E1 code - Hooray, everyone has clean clothes again :-)
If this does not work, here is a link to a Washing Machine User Blog which might be able to offer more experts and more specific information
