You pull the drawers out as far as they go then lif up and again pull straight out. That can be found on page 15-16 in the user manual found HERE If you need help I will be here just ask, Thanks Sea Breeze

sounds like water line is blocked with frozen ice. have a technician clean the line and check the icemaker and water line for any kinks.

sure , if you look underthe handle is there perahps a small screwhole in which you can tighten handle??this may be prior year in which case if there are no screw holes present you need to grab hold of handle and with a "brisk" pull to the right it will come off hiddenclips, the clips can be t ightened and resecure by snapping back the oppisite way the handle pullled off

Is this a samsung bottom mount freezer? If so, u will need to unplug, remove all food, open all doors for 72 hours minimum. Drain tube is frozen up. Other method is to remove fridge evap cover and clean I CD e and drain tube. Easier to just unplug.

Sounds like your drain tube is blocked in the freezer for the defrost water. The drain tube is in the back left or right corner and will have a drain trough under the cooling coils tilting towards it. That trough will probably have ice built up all over it. Once the ice is out you may need to force hot water down the drain tube. I use to use a turkey baster with a rubber hose on it to force the hot water down the drain tube. Its clear when you put water in the trough top and it goes down the tube freely to the drain pan under the refrigerator.

Sorry your having trouble so soon!
First thing you need to check is inside the freezer section.
The freezer fan, the fan is W10128551 and should be running
along with the main compressor. Since the freezer is working,
I would check the food on the top drawer or on the freezer door shelf.
They too might be soft..without the fan.
I would You tube 'evaporator fan motor replacement Amana bottom freezer model' Yes I know it say's Whirlpool, but your unit is really
a Amana designed unit. I would give this a difficulty of 3 out 5 wrenches.. Take your time..

Amana freezer door doesn't fully shut
There is a drain inside the freezer part of the arb2257csr. The drain can get clogged and the water from the defrost process will pool up on the bottom of the freezer. You can gain access to the back of the unit and remove the pan drain to clean it out. Then make sure water flows and ice is not blocking the drain. It takes a long time to melt so I used a turkey baster and put hot water into the drain from the lower inside middle of the freezer. This drain pan can get pretty smelly when rancid oils and such don't evaporate the way it was designed to evaporate the water. The symptoms were ice on the inside bottom and water pooling in the front of the drawer. It also became very hard to close the door due to the frozen door slide. I have not seen anyone report this on any site so far. Everyone talks about the thermostat but no one seems to have arteriosclerosis of the drain tube.

You have to remove the bottom drawer, remove one of the drawer slider mounts on the freezer wall, and remove the rear panel. If yours has an ice maker you will have to disconnect it and remove it also. Unplug it so the water valve does not dump water on you while you are working inside.

Hello,

The problem your having is the defrost drain is blocked,to access the drain the freezer drawer must be removed then remove the back panel of the freezer,to remove the drawer pull it all the way out,look and find a phillips headed screw on the outer side of the slide rail near the door remove those screws(one on each side) lift the drawer off of the slide rails,remove rear panel and the drain will be under the evaperator coil(the stainless steel coil) BEWARE the fins on the coil are very sharp and will cut you. if you dont think you can do it call for service and tell them that the defrost drain is blocked.

Amana BR18V1S is running but fridge temperature is low (slightly cool) Checked everything, cleaned coils (very dirty) Freezer OK.
Check and see if the freezer coils are blocked with ice. If not you may have a refrigerant problem as you stated the coils were dirty. The new refrigerants when hot tend to clog the capillary tube which feeds the refrigerant to the evaporator (freezer coils)

It is in the freezer compartment but you can try accessing  it from the bottom where it goes into the drip pan. Try using a can of compressed air with a straw held tightly with your fingers and blow out the line backwards.
Not a lot of infor ar pictures in you manual . It does say to make sure it is level and shows hot to do so. See below:

Water dripping into refrigerator someone told me that the drain in the back of the freezer could be blocked, its a self free defrost freezer. cant find drain tube to check.
remove rear panel inside freezer and you will find drain pan at bottom with drain in the middle. probably blocked with ice. melt off with a hairdryer and follow up with hot water till water flows away freely

Freezer leaks water!
luvbug, Your refrigerator is "frost free" which means it is automatically defrosts after the compressor runs 8 to 12 hours. The defrost cycle lasts approximately 30 minutes. If it is in normal condition, defrosted water goes through the drain into the drip pan under the refrigerator and then evaporates. The problem you are having is one of the most common - the drain line is clogged up. To fix it you have to remove the freezer drawer, defrost and clean the drain. The drawer removal procedure described in the refrigerator manual book. If you do not have one you can find it there: http://www.amana.com/amana/jsp/manual.do You will see the drain hole on the freezer floor by the rear panel. To defrost it you can use your hair dryer. To make sure it is open, run a cup of very hot water through the drain. Reinstall the freezer drawer and enjoy it! Gendos....post it back
