Agitator ( nutator) will not function

OL error means the Motor Controller has sensed an Overload.

The oL code means the motor control board is struggling to power the motor up. If it recurs after removing some clothes - usually this means a new motor control.... or worse - a new bearing.

If it were a problem with the tub floating up, the unit would spin instead of nutate.

Bearing failure in this machine is very common.

I suspect the drive shaft and bearing are the problem. The bearing and shaft are part of the outer tub.

There are 2 codes which you may be mis-interpreting.

OL
and
DL

DL is a door latch/lock error
OL is a different beast....

I found a pillowcase wrapped around the shaft of a calypso washer. I had to remove the agitator to get it out. Pop the nutation tower off and remove the upper agitator. Look in the holes for clothing. Raise up the tub to release the article. Do not attempt to remove the inner agitator. I bet you have something similar an object between the tubs. I wrote a tip about it with pictures. The water will drain because the pump has its own motor.SERVICE MANUAL

Does your washer have an agitator or a nutator.(nutator is the little cone on the bottom) They have had problems with the nutator tightening and causing extra drag on the motor. The Oasis is a very complicated machine. It is either that or the control board. You can replace the control board yourself and see if that fixes it to save the hefty service technician charge. If the control board doesnt fix it then you have to call a technician. if you need any further help let me know.
