How to repair pivot pin on cover of deli drawer on Amana French-door refrigerator ?
French door model with bottom freezer drawer.
The deli tray has a lid which pivots up when you pull out the drawer.
The plastic pivot pin snapped off on one side. It looks like it is an intrinsic part of the whole drawer support mounted on the inside of the refrigerator. Can this be repaired or do I have to replace the supporting piece?

is the freezer freezing too? to much ice build up? if not check ur damper vent, make sure its not stuck closed or open to far, check the thermistors, the tempeture control thermostat, defrost timer and defrost terminator
The wider end of the piece can be hooked anywhere on the back of the deli drawer. Keep the piece bent when you install it or it will scratch the glass on the front of the drawer. Also, make sure the tip of the smaller end is touching the bottom of the drawer before straightening the divider.
Make sure nothing fell below your crisper, deli drawer section. There are some air return vents below them and if they get partially obstructed would allow cold air to pool in the bottom of the fridge. Make sure your freezer control did not get turned up too high. Also you may want to check with the manufacturer as they did have some issues with some of the bottom mount models exhibiting this problem and they developed a repair kit for them.
Pull out your WIDE-N-FRESH Deli Drawer at the bottom, and when the lid automatically raises look to the right: you'll find a sliding temperature controller that most likely is all the way up. Slide it down towards the bottom and this will cut back on the cool. Worked for ours!
