Defective door latch which will not lock on a machine that is just over one month old...It takes forever for someone to repair these...I have been without a washer for 1 month.

Common error with front loaders is the door interlock. Make sure the door is positively closed. A gentle open hand push at the erea of the door lock often gets a machine started.
put outlet hose on ground drain water out ,then between the handle and the manchine theres a hook put something there to pull it towards u and it will open but its not easy , but is for me
I think it may have try and get your local engineer out to have a quick look tell your thinking of buying new and what price can he supply 4. and you like a free estimate .
first make sure the door is closed good look for the door locked light to come on second open and close the dispenser drawer make sure its closed all the way as there is a switch in there that wont let it start if not closed then advise me and we will go from there
