Chronograph hand not resetting to 12 o'clock

For my victorinox, the crown out one position and the reset button (lower chronograph button) changes the minute hand and the top (start/stop button) does the 10th's of a second...crown all the way out and top (start/stop button) does 30 second intervals for the minute counter.

I have a Festina Chronograph and my second hand was sitting on 26" past. What I did was to pull the crown out all the way and then with the top button (the one that will activate the second hand under normal conditions) push it several times to get it back to the 12. You will see that every time you push it the second hand will move up by one hand. once your second hand is reset you can replace the crown. BUT.... my chronograph has a minute hand as well.... yep... you have to move your second hand like a million time to reset the minute hand. Good luck

You can also use the start/stop button to ajust other chronograph hands while pulling the crown full and half way.

My seiko chronograph second hand, 1/20 sec and the minute hand all didn't line up. What I did was to pull the crown all the way out and press the top button to cycle thru the above 3 chronograph. You then press the bottom button to advance them. Say you press the top button and it the second hand that move. You then press the bottom button to advance to 12 o'clock. Repeat the sequence for the next chronograph hand.

wasn't a major problem but just didn't look right to me.

For longines .
If i pull the crown out to half position the top and bottom buttons move the chronograph hour and minute hands forward a notch.
If i pull out the crown fully the top and bottom buttons move the chronograph second and 1/10th of a second hands forward a notch .
holding the button in spins the hand round quickly .
once all hands pointing straight up push crown back in and bingo!! all is good and resets correctly to due north.

My Victorinox 241198 watch stopwatch does not reset to zero. It is currently at 1 hr and 55 minutes as it's zero. I can reset the (red) second hand to zero. How do I reset the stopwatch hour hand and minute hand to zero? Thanks.

Victornox swiss army watch same complaints as above followed instructions every thing ok now thanks 700 dollar watch i got for 425 out the door love it all most cried when i seen the hands out of sink thanks again

I wish i could have researched this before i returned a beautiful Victorinox Chronograph that i bought for 70% off that had the same problem.

Don't know if you have this fixed or not yet, but this worked for me.

pull the crown all the way out. then press the chronograph start/stop button. the chronograph hand should tick forward every time (or every couple times) you press the button. I'm not sure if you go past 12 if you'll have to go all the way back around. but try not to.

anyways, when it's lined up, push the crown back in and then start the chronograph and let it go for at least a full minute. now when you press the chronograph reset button it should reset back to 12. hope this works!
