I was stumped for a while but sussed it. When it says "Battleship reporting", you then input your coordinates for the Battleship piece. Then it will say "spy plane reporting" and you input those coordinates for the spy plane piece. And so on for each different piece. Each piece is described in instructions. I'm now off to obliterate my nephews fleet.

Entering coordinates

When you press on your Where to? graphic a menu will come up that will give you a number of choices including
Address, Go Home, Points Of Interest, and 3 others. There should be an arrow point down in the lower right corner of the screen. When you press that the screen will scroll down a page and you should then see the Coordinates Globe. Press this and the screen should change to the Enter Coordinates screen. This will allow you to enter two sets of coordinates for your destination.

I disconnected my battery on my truck and when i reconnected it, its asking me for a code, and i didnt even set one. what can i do?

Common Kenwood Security Codes
Many Kenwood radios are configured with the same security codes:

KCAR - This seems to be a "backdoor" to some Kenwood models.
3051 - This is the security code which is printed in the manual of many Kenwood models.
1234 - This is a security code commonly chosen by Kenwood owners.
Entering Your Kenwood Security Code
If the car battery fails or is disconnected, the Kenwood will ask for the security code.

The procedure to enter your security code differs on various models of Kenwood car stereos. Here are three of the more common procedures:

Type 1
During the code request mode, while holding the DISP key depressed, press and hold the Volume UP or DOWN key for 3 seconds until the "..." display disappears.
Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote.
Type 2
Press the "Auto" button and "Track up" on the face of radio at the same time until the four dash lines disappear.
Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote.
Type 3: Model# DPX-4020 and DPX-4030
Press and hold the 1 then the 6 preset keys until the display shows the letter 'C'.
Enter the security code using your Kenwood remote.
Entering Letters on your Kenwood Remote
To enter a letter using your Kenwood remote, press a button once for the first letter, twice for the second letter, and three times for the third letter -- then press the Track Up or Next Track key to send the letter.

To send the letter 'A', press the 2 key once and then press the Track Up key. To send the letter 'B', press the 2 key twice and then press the Track up key.

Finally, when you are done entering all of the letters, press and hold the Track Up button for 3 seconds.

The key sequence to enter the security code KCAR is:

Your Kenwood should then enter tuner mode.

A Security Code Bug in some Kenwoods
There is a reported bug in the security code handling of some Kenwood stereos. In models with thie bug, the security code is stored incorrectly. The workaround is to enter the wrong security code.

In models with this bug, you have to decrement the third character of the security code by one. If your security code was 1111, you would enter your security code as 1101. If your security code was 9999, you would enter 9989.

Cant find how to manually input cordinates

First create a waypoint, and then modify it. Hold down the enter button for two seconds (the thumb-toggle on the face of the unit). This opens a screen with a number at the top and coordinates of your current location below. Once you've grabbed the coordinates you can change the name and the coordinates and the name and save it as a waypoint. Use the thumb-toggle to bring up number pads and letter pads for each line.

Problem with entering anti-theft radio code for Honda Fit: The radio screen says: "Enter Code:" I enter the confirmed correct code, but when doing so when the actual code (all numbers) turn into letters or...

when you use the "preset keys" (the keys on the radio with numbers on them) to enter the code, each time you press a code number, a letter appears [c, o, d, e]. once the word is spelled out, from entering the correct 5 digits, the radio is reset, ready to go.

BUT if you miss a number, enter a wrong number, whatever, each number pressed, still makes a letter appear from the word "code". once the word is spelled out, by entering ANY 5 numbers, if ANY of the 5 is wrong, the radio displays a message "Error" and then a number 1 thru 10.

When you see the word "Error..."

the next preset button you push, starts the whole thing over again. The radio says "Enter code". That is when you enter the 1st of the 5 digits, the letter C appears, enter the next digit, the letter O appears, enter the next digit, the letter D appears, enter the last digit, the letter E apperas, the radio is reset, ready to go, if you got the 5 correct numbers entered.

you have 10 chances to enter the right 5 digit code. Each wrong try of 5 digits yeilds a display of "Error 1", "Error 2", "Error 3", etc 'till you get to 10 incorrect tries of 5 digits each.

If you dont get it right in 10 tries, you have to leave the radio "on" for an hour, then it will let you start the 10 tries over again.

Good luck!

My son received the game yesterday. When we try to enter coordinates for Player 1's ships, it repeatedly says "incorrect coordinates." We are entering the letter, then the number, then enter.

Hi there... not sure which version of the game you have... but I was told.... If you want to enter for example.... b6... you first push B.... and then the buttons automatically change to numbers... then push F.. which is the 6th letter....
or c4 would be c.... and the d.. (the fourth letter)...
Hope this helps... just got the answer now... so gonna try it myself...
Kind regards

I have a hyundai sonata classic 2000 model disconnected the battery lead to clean them, now the radio will not work I have a security code but not sure how I put it in to radio

Once you turn on the unit, "1 CDE" will appear on the LCD. Then using preset button 1~4 enter the 4 digit security number supplied on security card. After confirming the number, press preset button 5. This should unlock the player. If the incorrect code is entered "2 CDE" will appear on LCD and if incorrect code is entered again, "3 CDE" will appear on LCD. If, after the third attempt, the code is incorrect, the set will turn off. Wait 1 hour before re entering a security code.
