You can right click on it and choose update driver and then install the driver for it from the Disc for your cam or the all-in-one disc. Otherwise you may delete it from device manager and choose scan hardware changes from the menu and it will let you install a driver for it. you can choose to install from disc or windows updates or from internet whichever you feel like to locate the right driver. otherwise you can download the right driver from the manufacture's web site and install it.

Your laptop should still be under warranty. Contact the manufacturer and have it repaired/replaced under warranty. This issue should be just with your issue. The cheapest and fastest way is to get it warranty repaired.

Unfortunately, I would either have to be in the chat mode or on the telephone with you to fully analyze your problem and provide a coherent answer. But don't despair because there is a little FREE program that may solve your problem.
It happens periodically that our computer shuts down, restarts, hibernates or some other weird thing when we really don't want it to.
