Just a few days ago my printer will not print. It will come up with the message that says Open the printer cover and put Yellow Toner Cartridge. The yellow is in and it is not empty. I took the color out, then it rotated and told me to put cyan toner cartridge in. All of these cartridges have lots of color left. How can I make my printer print again.

A couple of suggestions. 1. make sure there is not any plastic shipping tabs that need to be removed from the cartridge. 2. try reseating the cartridge. 3. Try replacing that cyan cartridge. It may be defective. Also make sure you use Minolta brand toners!

Actually you are supposed to replace the whole container.
You can order this as part of your service contract just like toner, the cost would be included.
If you are shaking it out, be aware it is VERY flamable in such a fine powdered state.

pleas clean toner chip reader, remove pc drum and all toners, under the toner rack there is a 3 pin chip reader, use pressure air to clean it. if the new BK toner is not original, it will say only not genuine toner but will print.

EAch cartridge has a small ( about 1/4 inch square) stainless steel color metal tab at the end of the cartridge opposite the refill cap end. The surface of this little tab is visible when the cartridge is "low" on toner and this causes the machine to give the message to change the cartridge. As the cartridge gets older I've noticed that this tab moves to the exposed position more readily, which causes the message to appear. If you google how to reset the position of this tab, then the message will not appear. EVerytime I refill the toner of a cartridge I check to make sure to reset the position of this little metal tab.
It is difficult to describe how to reset the position of the tab. You have to stick a small regular screw driver into the slot below where the metal tab appears and find the lever which can be pushed to reset the position of the tab. You can likely find photos of this procedure on google.

Did you buy a whole new drum unit, or just change the cartridge? If so, the fuse may still be blown. Also, you may need to empty the spent toner out of the old cartridge.

I had the same problem, though I just cleaned the toner cartridge and the chip on the right then put it back in. The problem, I believe, is related to the paper feed being out of sync. Once I snapped the toner back in the problem went to the paper feed.
my Konica Minolt Magicolor 2400w will not print because is displays an error message insert cyan catridge. But I have reload it several times.
