Turn off the voice notification for text and email
Swipe down from the top to reveal wifi, GPS, sound etc. Then simply disable driving mode. done
Thanks for the instructions. I inadvertently turned on the Driving Mode on my new phone. The voice that notified me every time I got a text or e-mail was driving me crazy! I tried everything I could think of to no avail. Your easy instructions on how to disable this very annoying feature have made my day.

I agree this thing was announcing my reminders so telling everyone that it's time for my birth control was quite annoying.

Hi Go to settings/Accessibilty the move down to Services, try to turn off TalkBack Service. If the TalkBack Service is already off, select that service go to settings and check out all ticks and make sure that you have this service off.
