It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

Check this link to replace the inlet valve:

http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/washing-machines/a/7/1408/how-to-replace-the-inlet-valve-on-a-washer-dr.html

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the dry spin with the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water from the clothes during the spin.

SOURCE: bosch 1200 classixx not working properly. On 12

Make sure there is no water in drum.
Remove and clean pump filter, this is usually located at the bottom front right of washer, behind drop down cover.
Unscrew anti- clockwise to remove and clean.
Good luck.

Throw cycle gets to drain and spin part stops and says end so I change the settings to just drain and spin and it drain but when it trys to spin it starts to turn then stops and says end

If your washing machine is not completing the spin cycle and displays an "End" message, there could be a few reasons for this:
  1. Unbalanced load: An unbalanced load can cause the machine to stop spinning to prevent damage to the appliance. Try redistributing the clothes in the machine and restart the spin cycle.
  2. Clogged drain: A clogged drain can cause the machine to stop spinning. Check the drain filter and make sure it is not blocked.
  3. Faulty motor or motor control board: A faulty motor or motor control board can cause the machine to stop spinning. If you hear a humming sound or the drum doesn't turn at all, this could be the issue. In this case, you may need to call a professional to inspect and repair the machine.
  4. Faulty lid switch: A faulty lid switch can prevent the machine from spinning. If the machine doesn't spin but you can still hear the motor running, this could be the issue. You can check the lid switch by opening and closing the lid to see if the machine responds.
If you've checked the load and the drain and neither of those seem to be the issue, you may need to call a professional to diagnose and repair the problem.

Drum barely spinning, maybe the belt is worn?

Is it just the spin cycle or all the way through?
Could be worn or loose or both. Does it spin without a load in the manchine. Do you hear the motor running at a higher pitch than normal (means it's running without any load to it) or does it sound the same? Worse senario, If the motor is an "Indution Motor" then a coil may have gone o/c. If it is a brush motor (if you hear sparking)could need new brushes

Dryer stopped spinning, timer still ticking, cannot get to restart.

Can you still hear the motor turning? If the motor is running but the drum is not then it is probably a broken belt or there may be something blocking the drum from spinning. The first thing to check is if the drum will turn by hand. If so, the next thing to check is if the belt has broken or slipped off. Although it is a bit cumbersome to replace, it is easy to diagnose. Unscrew the screws holding the back of the dryer on and pull the cover off. Look at the pulleys on the motor and see if the belt is intact. If those solutions don't do the trick, let me know and I will try to give you other options.

Drain pump starts and stops prior to final spin cycle

Jayron, is the motor jogging? start to spin, stop, start to spin stop. If so, your motor is jogging between the high and low start windings. The motor during spin should start on the high speed windings and stay there until most of the water is drained. GE came out with a new motor, harness and run cap because of this. If you have a meter, there should be a white and white/red wire going to the motor. If you have a steady 120V and it's doing this jogging, replace the motor with the kit...Let me know if this the issue, Catriver..post back.
