    i brought two fifa 09's and it freezes in exactly the same place but all other games work fine!! ahhhhhhhhhh

    I'm at the start of my 5th/6th season, after i've played my game, it asks me a question about a club and it stops loading at 9% and freezes.

    2 separate manager modes, back to back.  first one in season 8.  second one in season 3.  exchanged for a new disc.  still does it.  everything else works fine.  very frustrating.

You might need a new disc all together, the one you have may have just a couple of scratches. (same thing happened to me!) all i simply did was buy a new disc (fifa) and it started working again. Hope this helps DIGMAN

My PS3 freezes when i play Fifa 09 Manager mode
try looking for updates and patches for the game, else, reinstall all your fifa 09 files.

if this doesn't work, verify it there are any problems with your disk (dust, for example),

is the problem continues, restore your ps3 system . (or first re-update the system by downloading the latest update in Playstation Site)

Cant play two players on fifa 09
Freezing playing offline two players or even one player.

First I thought the problem was related to the fifa09 DVD, and therefore I got a new one. That didn’t help. Then I got at new PSP3, and it didn’t make a difference. However, I found the solution:

Unfortunately I did two things at the same, so it’s not possible to say, what made the difference.

1. Dot not choose your local language (in my case Danish), but chose English (the next time you start fifa09 it can run with your local language)

2. Delete your saved data concerning fifa09

No sync
Ok then you basically answered your own question. The problem is with your game Fifa 09. You should try to exchange it with another copy which you should be able to do without much of a problem. Just explain to them the situation they have to replace it. Take it back.
