MACHINE WILL FILL BUT WONT SPIN. I HAVE TAKEN THE LID OFF, UNSNAPPED THE TOP PLASTIC COVER AND RAN A COAT HUNGER AROUND THE BOTTOM TO MAKE SURE NOTHING WAS HUNG. I HAVE UNPLUGGED IT AND WENT BACK TO CHECK IT AND IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING.

SOURCE: I think the issue might be the lid switch, but not
If you put hanger in hole and push down then it works it is the lid switch. To remove take top off to get to it. From the front take a putty knife and push on each side about an inch from the side to release the clips that hold the top down. Putty knife between the top & the cabinet. Lift up and you can get to the switch. Also it could be the plastic piece that pushes the switch down is broken off and not long enought to push the switch down.

Have you tested the lid switch, if it is not making the washer will not spin. try using a pen or small bladed screwdriver to depress on the switch to see if you hear it clicking, although sometimes it wont work even if it clicks when they go bad. The washer should work as normal till it gets to the spin cycle, then without the lid switch working it won't go any furthur. You can try jumping across the leads to see if this gets it to spin and this will tell you if the switch is bad or not.
