Was mowing some tall grass and the mower stopped. I pushed it clear of grass and now the motor will crank but it will not start.
Check to see if you lost spark if not spray starting fluid and see if it fires that will tell you if it's a fuel prblem
Whoa! Be careful with that starting fluid, it is very volatile and too much can give too much compression if it ignites and may bust the rings on your piston.
First, check the seat switch. It's by the hinge on the seat. Being that you were mowing some tall grass, a piece of the grass may have become lodged in the switch and not allowing contact. There's another similar switch on the Brake/Clutch where a piece of debris may have become lodged causing a loss in contact in the switch.
You can unplug the seat switch for testing.

sounds like a safety switch problem. but maybe you can help me i have the same model do you have a lot of jerking when you start off of turn with yours?
