Kenmore top load washer...lock light flash and water will not come in.
Kenmore top load washer 21302, the sensor light is on and the lid lock light is on with a clicking noise. What could be wrong with it and how do I fix it?
Sounds like a "mode shift actuator" problem.
At power up and start new cycle the drum spins for a couple seconds to calibrate the sensor, if no movement is detected the washer cycle stops, constant flashing of the sensing light. Lid ock will sometimes flash and lock and unlock a couple of times.
No water will fill.
No agitation or spin.
Drain pump will work.

Also remove the hose at the back of the washer. There is a restriction about 4 inches inside the hose that traps hairs and everything bigger than a toothpick.

Check out this you tube. Had the same problem today. Tipped washer on its side and replaced coupler between motor and gearbox. Parts are about $15
This is a good diagnosis video.

Hi, Both of these fault codes point to a pressure switch issue. If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch. With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions. If the fault codes return after diong this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to comment again, Good luck.
