Got everything taken apart, the relay is definitely fried, got the replacement part and now I am not sure how everything connects back together. Specifically how the blue wires connect to the run capacitor on one end and how they attach to the start relay on other end. Have looked for wiring diagrams etc, but they do not show exactly how to connect everything back together. Attaching relay to compressor is clear. but the wiring is not.
Depending on the model and the part # of the ptc overload relay will tell you how to wire it back as was,on some ptc O/L's there are spaces on the component where you just plug it on piggyback to this ptc,if not then all you do is wire the capacitor in parallel to the 2 power pins on the compressor, the cap doesn't actually start or run the units compressor, its there to help suppress the arcs on the relay when it starts, the compressor will operate without this capacitor

I would go back to person who gave that advice because just the right touch on that capacitor and YOU my friend will be in the hospital. If this is helpful, please post as such. TY
