I have a terrible odor coming from our Amana TXI21A3W. I have cleaned everything out and am now trying to see if I can remove the drip pan to clean it. I cant find the drip pan. I know that some newer models dont have drip pans. Is this true for this model? Fridge was in house when we moved in, no manual!
Yes, it has a drip pan. Here is a site that mentions it as a replacement part.

Hello, Mfultz0429 -
You can find the owner's manual for you Amana refrigerator / freezer here (free):
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/475318/Amana-Tx21a3w-P1181504ww.html
To download it, save it (to a file in your Documents folder - name it: Amana Refrigerator Manual or something like it), and print it for easy reference, you will need Adobe Reader software, as it is a PDF document.
I did not find any mention of a drip pan in the manual. Instead, after downloading, saving, and printing the manual, see Page 16 and then follow the instructs starting on Page 12.
The manual gives the Consumer Information phone number for Amana: 800-843-0304 .

for reallybsq
problem could be door seals not sealing completely and hence excessive ice formed on evaporator and excess water when it melts. however, i have found this problem many times with large larder fridges and really found no cure.
for guest.
towards the bottom of the back wall, there is a gulley with a drain hole in the middle. this drain is blocked. clear it with something flexible and make sure water flows away freely
Thank willie for helping with one: "Well, it looks like the pan is a seperate plastic pan and not the compressor mounting pan like some of the newer ones are. It appears that you have to remove the condensor fan motor and mounting bracket then maybe the pan will left up and over the compressor, or maybe there is enough room to lift the pan up and out the front over the condensor coils"

There Should Be A Grill On The Front Bottom Below The Door. Remove That And It Should Come Out Of The Right Side.
SOURCE: Do I need to empty the water from my drip pan
the pan is there to catch condensation from the compressor during the refridgeration cycle. the water build up to me indicates one of two things. Either the refrigerant level is low and it is freezing up then thawing, or if you have ice or water dispencer it could have a leak in the line. the only thing other than that is a leak in the magnetic door seal or other insulation causing condensation. hope this helps

find where line comes out under fridge in pan and blow back through line with shop air. clean evap pan inside freezer by defrosting and cleaning pan.
