I have the same aircon ....if the red light is not on pull the electricity plug out then press on to use up residual power then plug cord back in and turn on then press down till you get to 18degrees and the red light should turn on
Does your remote have batteries? If yes change them. Somewhere on the unit there should be a selector switch, put it into test and manually lower the thermostat setting
F9: OUTDOOR COIL PIPE TEMP SENSOR FAULT
F7, F8, & F9 generally related to improper installation of temp sensors
connectors & wiring.
please check the wiring....
and also try short circuiting the terminals at the back of your remote and replacing the batteries
if you find the wiring proper and the above procedures doesnt work... its likely a hardware issue and its recommended you contact the manufacturer....
i have a hotpoint mistral plus 8596 a couple of days ago it started defrosting and showing a diagram of a box with an arrow pointing to the top compartment next to it is a minus 13 degrees
