I have a Troy Bilt leaf blower model TB25BP there is another # on the engine 9052-md1502. It starts fine. the problem is when going full throttle it wants to die and will not achieve full RPM. It runs better with the choke 1/2 on. I removed and cleaned the carb, changed the plug and changed the gas. I am thinking it is running way lean, but there is no mixture adjustment. any clues???

I have a similar problem. Starts fine and will run at full throttle for a minute then slows down to an idle. I have to let off the gas, wait a few seconds and then it runs full throttle for another minute and slows again. I can't find anything on line to trouble shoot this. Very frustrating.
I have a similar problem with a Troy Bilt gas-powered blower. Actually, at first I couldn't even get it to start when I took it out of the box. I changed the gas/oil solution several times in case I mixed it wrong but it still wouldn't work. Finally, instead of returning it, I brought it to a local hardware shop with a Troy Bilt service contract and they said they had to "score the cylinder". It works somewhat but now I have the same problem as the other users cited - when I attempt to push it full throttle the engine conks out. Sorry, no suggestions.
Starts fine on half choke, will idle with choke off. Dosen't want to run at full throttle. will run fine on half choke.
