Strange problem that apparently came out of no where yesterday. For some reason I can not change inputs on my ILO 26" LCD tv anymore. I can turn off the tv with the remote, and adjust the picture size, but I can't change inputs, change the tv volume, or bring up the tv menu using the remote or the buttons on the side of the television. Am I missing something here? My tv input is now stuck on component input for my cable box, but I am unable to switch it to any other input.
if it s mother board, how do I get it fixed? as I cant use menu on tv's button or remote either, and I cant change the input, size of screen, and close captioned..all are not working. so what was the problem? I had it only 3 yrs....****** it~if it s mother board, how do I get it fixed? as I cant use menu on tv's button or remote either, and I cant change the input, size of screen, and close captioned..all are not working. so what was the problem? You're not trying to use the "Tuner" in the ILO are you? Bypass it and use the A/V cables from the "out" of the converter box. I think mine also has the coax type cable from the "to tv" to the ILO, then from the "to tv" on the ILO to the television. Either way should work. Mine works great, its a zenith and I have successfully recorded to discs in my ILO. Just change the Source back to the DVD source to watch a dvd or select the corresponding A/V connections that are hooked to your convertor box to watch/record television.
I would like my £8 back as have received no help. have bought a new TV - so problem no longer exists! Your web site is somewhat misleading - as it made me think I would have help straight away.
I have the same problem when using the coax hookup. try using another input and see if that helps, I no longer use the tuner, just hook my tv up to the inputs and set the tv on what I want to record, same with vcr tapes etc.
shouldn't need one, If you can't get the tuner source of your ilo to record, try using A/V cables (output) from tv to (Inputs) on ilo. set tv on channel you want to watch and it should come through to the ilo (selecting the correct source input of course) If your tv is really old and doesn't have A/V then you will need RF Modulator. This way of hooking tv up will also work with recording DIGITAL signal from a Digital converter box type tuner (the tuner in Ilo soon to be no longer operatable).

my 8 month old tv doesnt even turn blue. just blinking red light where on/off light display appears. very discouraged cause wallmart will not help. trying techsupport. i found this number from my purchase paperwork. hope it is helpfull to you.
Usually the blue screen is an indication that the video signal to the TV is not present. Most of the new TV's have a video input selection button on the TV and on the remote; try changing the video input selection.
