String caught in fan of Craftsman 79474 garden leaf blower
A string hanging out of my pocket got caught in the blower blades of my craftsman garden blower. Need to open the casing, but 'screws' need some kind of special tool that I don't recognize.

The fan cover has a lock on it. Take a screw driver and insert it into the slot and slightly move it and the plastic clip will move out and unlock the cover. I am talking about the cover for the vacuum. Hope this helps.
you may have blown your engine. try to move the piston up or down when you take off the spark plug. if it does not move you may have broken a piston ring and the piston may be stuck because of the broken ring. you can also try to check the starter string where it is coiled in the spool. it may be just tangle up. remove the casing and check the string off of the engine.
