Under the seat of your mower, there should be a silver and black sticker with a model number on it. It probably looks like 917.123456 . Go to www.searspartsdirect.com and plug in your model number. Follow the links to the deck diagram and find your belt listing. You can even order your part thru them. Craftsman riding mowers are usually made by A.Y.P. and will have fractional belt sizing...that means the belt will be 1/2" x 88.23" or 5/8" x 96.4". Unfortunately this means you will have to get your belt either thru sears, or thru another retailer that offers belts specifically made for your mower. Check with your local repair shop. A general diagram is also on the sears site. That might make it a little easier to reinstall.
