How can i rest set my password ?

Go into settings by using the existing password. If you have none, remove the on board batteries, wait a while. Then insert them, power up and go to settings. Old password should have been lost.

I have run into this problem before.... What password are you tring to change???? If it is the password to enter service mode > the default number is "00000000" eight zero's. To rest it you have to get into service mode to reset it..... Basically if that is the one you need to change..... Good Luck ... It is a eight digit code, it can be anything.... I never did rest the one I was working ON...

Try plugging it into your computer see if you have all the drivers still, you should be able to open the folders in it on the computer let me know?

Forgot windows password, we can use Windows Password Reset to reset our windows password.

The steps are:
Step1:Download and install Windows Password Reset from http://www.windowspasswordreset.net
Step2:Burn Windows Password Reset ISO file to CD/DVD,or USB.
Step3:Put in your newly created CD and remove your Windows Password

If you haven't changed it before, just leave the username blank and enter "admin" (without quote) as password. This is the default of all linksys routers.

hi sir i have 3110c i need maser rest for it i forgot my password of rest setting plaese send me as soon as pasible.

There will be a "reset" button somewhere on the back of the router ...no doubt a small hole you need to stick a straightened out paper clip into. Press the rest button and the router will go back to factory settings. Netgear usually use the user name "admin" and the password "1234" to log into routers for default. Any WEP/WPA settings you has set on the router will be gone too, so you need to go back in and set up your security again.

remover the battery and fix it again...you also need to use the reset jumper to reset settings completely
