Hi, I have a Recoctane Les Paul Mod. 95121 with the same problem, it tries to sync but with no success. So I read your post and probe that if I add a cell for a total of 4.5v the problem disappear This make me think that the problem was in the voltage regulator or something like that, so I start to view with the help of an oscilloscope the 3.3v line in the guitar main board and I found a lot of ripple, so I replace the small electrolytic capacitor rated at 220uf @ 10v near the battery connector and now it works!

Did you replaced it with another capacitor of equal values?

  • Anonymous Apr 12, 2017

You just need a 220uF capacitor, if the voltage is under 50v and above 10V is fine.

    how do u do this

I have bought a wireless ps3 guitar ( KRAMMER) which is a red octane and i cannot find a usb port on it ??? please help

It's actually hidden inside the guitar neck....well it is for the warriors of Rock guitar for PS3. I have one of these but no dongle so if anyone has one please let me know.ee96b211-8ef1-4fdd-9c2a-202ece6747f3.jpg16319844579014752486403742228714-zkt5tkphum4ofoiikpxk5o2c-6-2.jpg

And this is an adapter for PS3 which allows the console to receive wireless signal from wireless guitar. I have 5 guitar hero guitars so before anyone nitpicks I am aware that this wireless dongle is for my Kramer Striker guitars. I have 2 working wireless receivers and am willing to swap if someone has a wireless USB dongle for a PS3 warriors of Rock guitar. Not the triangular shaped one but the little one which is identical to Skylanders Portal USB. The one which is hidden inside the neck which I included photo of above. Thanks

Red light means ur game pad's analog function is on. If it is off then the function will b digital. Remember each game adjusts analog/digital function itself automatically. Plz feel free 2 ask ny problems related PS2.

Guitar hero wireless guitar with PS2, guitar sync light seems to flash normally, but the receiver on the PS2 seems completly dead, can we change just the receiver part ?

Yes you can change just the receiver. There isn't anything wrong with your guitar so just change the receiver. The wireless guitars work with any other PS2 wireless guitar hero guitar receivers.

Guitar not connecting

Try turning off your guitar and pushing and holding the button on the receiver in for 5 to 10 secs. Turn on guitar and they should be sync'd. If that doesn't work, turn off PS2 disconnect from power supply for a minute or so, plug everything back in and sync the receiver and the guitar again.
